1. Scope of Work & Code Compliance

Service Standards: All work will be performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Existing Conditions: VIR Electric is not responsible for pre-existing electrical violations or safety hazards found during the course of work. If such conditions are discovered, we will notify the Client immediately, and a Change Order may be required to bring the system up to code.

2. Access & Site Conditions

Work Area Access: The Client must provide clear access to electrical panels, outlets, and work areas.

Drywall & Finishes: Electrical work often requires cutting into walls, ceilings, or floors. While we take every precaution to minimize damage, VIR Electric is not responsible for patching, taping, painting, or repairing drywall, plaster, or other finishes unless explicitly stated in the Quote.

3. Payment Terms

Invoicing: All quotes and invoices are issued via the Jobber platform. By approving a Quote, you agree to these terms.

Due Date: Full payment is due upon completion of the work unless a progress payment schedule is agreed upon in writing.

Late Fees: Any payments not made within 30 days of the invoice date will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month.

4. Liability & Warranty

Workmanship Warranty: We provide a 1-year warranty on labor. This does not cover customer-supplied fixtures, bulbs, or issues caused by utility power surges.

Limitation of Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising from our work is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service provided.

Permits: VIR Electric will pull all necessary electrical permits as required by the County. The cost of these permits will be billed to the Client.

5. Cancellation & Rescheduling

Notice: Please provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. We reserve the right to charge a \"Cancellation Fee
